Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator to work in our St. Louis office. This position requires 1 years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Work with technical staff to organize, write, and produce responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), special reports, and presentations.
- Provide support in researching, designing, writing, proofreading, printing, and assembling marketing materials, including proposals, qualifications, project sheets, newsletters, resumes, advertising and direct mail campaigns, newsletters, public relations, press releases, etc.
- Develop and maintain all marketing-related databases and associated mailings.
- Provide support for the establishment of formats for production of marketing materials to ensure a consistent corporate brand.
- Assists with maintenance and management of website and social media accounts including distribution of press releases, news articles, project descriptions, company activities, etc.
- Plan and coordinate special events.
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage concurrent tasks with tight deadlines and follow directions well
- Highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with emphasis on experience in InDesign, and the ability to transform ideas from non-marketing staff into creative designs for inclusion in pursuit materials
- Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud programs
- Experience with coordination/implementation of social media outlets
- Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines as required
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
- Previous experience in performing marketing production activities, including primarily SOQ preparation, in the consulting engineering, architecture and/or construction field(s)
- Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. or B.A. in Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing.
SALARY RANGE:
Salary will commensurate with experience.
