What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Client Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for DOT clients implementing digital delivery initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define goals, requirements, and success metrics
- Maintain client relationships
- Project Management:
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to guide digital delivery implementations
- Manage Digital Delivery project pursuits
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Provide regular updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Technology Integration:
- Assess current client workflows, tools, and systems to identify opportunities for digital transformation
- Guide the Implementation and customization of platforms like ORD, Civil3D, SharePoint, ArcGIS, and other digital delivery tools to meet client needs
- Guide clients in adopting Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other data management standards
- Training and Support:
- Guide the development of training materials and lead workshops to guide clients in their digital delivery implementations
- Innovation and Strategy:
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in digital delivery and transportation infrastructure
- Recommend and implement new tools and strategies to enhance efficiency and collaboration
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience:
- 10 years of experience in the transportation engineering industry, digital delivery, and/or related fields
- Experience working with DOTs or similar public-sector organizations is highly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in BIM, GIS, and digital project delivery tools and workflows
- Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives
- Understanding of tools such as ORD, ArcGIS, FME, SharePoint, Autodesk, or similar platforms
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience conducting training or workshops
- Ability to analyze workflows and recommend actionable improvements
