As a SUE Field Technician, you will support the New Mexico team by collecting field data, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Obtains and maintains all required safety certifications
- Communicate with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and others as appropriate to the project
- Manage time effectively, organize, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet project deadlines and client needs
- Designate (locate) existing utilities using electromagnetic and geophysical technologies
- Accurately and efficiently collect field data
- Coordinate with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met both in the office and in the field
- Read and interpret utility records, as-built and survey drawings, and highway design plans
- Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the company’s strategic goals
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds, walk for extended periods, and work in all weather conditions, be willing to work evenings / weekends when required, and be willing to travel for overnight and extended stay projects as required
