General Job Description
4am shift, under general supervision, operates mosquito control spraying and fogging equipment, helps with larvaciding application, trapping mosquitos and collections.
Duties for this Position
- Knowledge of pesticide handling is preferred.
- Ability to operate small engines and perform maintenance.
- Job will involve working with pesticides.
- Will assist with inspections and any other duties as assigned.
Position Minimum Requirements
- Physical Requirements: Must have physical ability to operate variety of machines and equipment including general office equipment, facsimile machines, vehicle, telephone, etc. Must be capable of exerting up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount for force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve extended periods of walking or standing on occasional basis.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to read and write.
- High School education or GED.
- Experience in equipment operations or related field, or any equivalent combination.
- Experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Must possess a valid SC driver’s license.
- Must pass required pre-employment physical and background check.
- Must be able to perform manual labor in lifting and handling necessary equipment and supplies.
