Simulation Director, Nursing

Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two -year community/technical college that offers more than 75 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree. HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown.

Horry-Georgetown Technical College seeks a full-time Simulation Director of Nursing. The selected candidate will be responsible for, with general supervision from his/her Chair, will be responsible for assisting with the leadership and management of the program(s) assigned. The Program Director will assist the Chair with monitoring all program clinical and lab activities.

Masters of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing education program and regionally accredited college/university; a current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina; two years of full-time or equivalent nursing clinical experience.

Two years of teaching experience in simulation and skills lab, or a combination of education in INACSL/SSH standards and experience related to the position; the ability to prepare and organize the simulation laboratory and all required materials and equipment.
