Machine Loadout Specialist

Description:

The Loadout Specialist is responsible for making sure all machines are ready for transportation. This process includes tear-down of machines when necessary or loading completed machines onto assorted transportation trailers. The Loadout Specialist will be responsible for the arrangement and upkeep of the finished machine storage lot and transporting machines around the facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Loading machines on transport trailers

· Prepare machines for tow-away transportation

· Tear-down of machines for transportation

· Stage finish machines in the yard for safe storage

· Unloading import containers

Additional Responsibilities:

· Unload and receive incoming materials

· Perform inventory cycle counts when necessary

· Follow all company safety rules and regulations

· Keep work area clean and organized

· Responsible for the proper use and care of company tools

· Follow all quality standards and procedures

· Assist with inside and outside facility and grounds cleaning and maintenance including snow removal, mowing, and other necessary tasks

· Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Company certified in the use of forklifts, cranes, and other necessary machines

· Mechanical aptitude

· Basic electrical and plumbing skills

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

· Self-motivated and goal-oriented

· Able to work independently or with a team, including taking instruction and feedback in stride

Physical/Work Environment:

· Individuals may need to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods.

· The position may require reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting 50 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required.

· The performance of this position will require exposure to manufacturing areas where the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses with side shields, is required.
