Product Specialist

Assist in company s customer service support, product improvement, and technical communication for service support. Experience is preferred in the agricultural technical industry with a background in operating and servicing agricultural equipment including tillage, planting, seeding, spraying and knowledge in monitor set up.

Position Requirements:

- Experience in agricultural equipment and products

- Hands on agricultural equipment servicing skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent phone skills

- Excellent organizational skills

- Computer skills - including the ability to use communication and organization software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

- Valid driver s license

- Ability to travel at least 60% of the time

- Self-motivated

- Ability to make decisions with or at times without supervision

- 2 year associate related degree preferred

- 2-5 years practical experience preferred

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide customer product support over the phone as well as in person

- Become the Horsch service contact person for the assigned territory by building relationships with dealer personnel

- Train and support dealer service and parts personnel on Horsch processes

- Generate ideas and solutions through customer relationships and failure analysis

- Assist with manufacturing support when needed

- Assist with field product support

- Assist engineering in prototype builds

- Assist engineering with installing prototype test parts

- Report back to Service Manager on product issues from the field

- Report back to Service Manager on issues with test components in the field

- Assist in creating service training materials as well as service manuals

- Assist with internal and dealer service trainings

- Provide monitor set up support

- Provide technical support to customer base as required

- Build training stands/tools

- Assist with creating necessary new service support policies and procedures
