Job Description:
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our company's social media presence across various platforms. You will be an integral part of the marketing team, working closely to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our brand's goals and values. Your creativity and strategic mindset will be key in driving engagement, growing our audience, and strengthening our digital communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all social media accounts to Facebook, X, Instagram, etc.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth
- Monitor social media trends and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and strategies
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content across all platforms to maintain a consistent brand voice and message
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and objectives
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and manage online interactions to foster a strong online community
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies
- Travel as needed to attend marketing events and support the team, capturing professional-quality photos of our events and products for promotional use. Travel may account for up to 50% of your work time
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content
- Proficiency in using social media management and analytic tools
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- A background in agronomy or the agricultural industry is highly appreciated
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Individuals may need to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods.
- The position may require reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting up to 50 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required.
- The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields.
