What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident in Counseling position at Horse and Soul Counseling?
Horse and Soul Counseling has an opportunity to hire a Resident in Counseling who is working towards licensure. Requirements for this position is to have a Masters in Counseling and currently approved by the board of counseling. Key characteristics of this resident would be having a patient, calm, and compassionate personality who wants to serve others who may have trauma or other mental health needs.
This person will be considered a private contractor and is required to carry their own Liability Insurance and will have to complete a background check. We want a highly motivated and innovative individual who wants to be apart of the growth of this program. You will also receive guidance and supervision on how to start your own private practice once you are licensed if you desire to do so. You will get the opportunity to learn about animal assisted therapy and integrate animals in the counseling process.
