Love horses? Enjoy working outside? Want to be part of something truly unique? We’re looking for a couple of very special, top-notch people to join our already excellent team—a fun, hardworking crew that spans all ages and backgrounds—right here in Gettysburg, PA.
This isn’t your average part-time gig. You’ll spend your days on horseback, helping guests get comfortable, handling horses of all sizes, and working outdoors in one of the most iconic places in the country. If you’ve got a heart for horses and people, this is the kind of job that makes every day feel like something special.
Our season runs from early April through the end of October, and we’re looking for folks who can commit to the full season.
What You'll Do:
- Ride horseback alongside guests on scenic trails through historic Gettysburg.
- Assist guests in mounting and help them feel secure and safe before and during the ride.
- Feed, groom, saddle, trailer, and care for horses—including horses of all sizes including big draft horses.
- Handle the behind-the-scenes work that makes it all possible—this is a physically active role.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and stay on your feet and in the saddle for extended periods
- Who We're Looking For:
- Anyone 18 or older with horse riding experience (Western style preferred)—rusty riders welcome! If you’ve been out of the saddle for a while, no worries—we’re happy to help you get your confidence back.
- You must be comfortable around horses of all sizes—including big draft horses.
- Folks returning to the horse world after a break.
- Horse owners or former riders who still light up at the smell of hay and leather.
- Retired but active individuals who want to spend time doing something meaningful.
- You must be able to commit to the entire season (April–October) and handle the physical demands of the role.
Shifts & Hours:
- Shifts generally fall between:
