Horton Benefits Company works directly with businesses to consult and deliver health insurance and other benefits for their employees. Our company was founded in 2017 and is a growing organization seeking entry-level interns eager to learn the insurance industry.
The Internship Role
As a sales intern, you will be responsible for:
- Participating in insurance training and absorbing valuable industry insights;
- Shadowing team members from all departments;
- Managing a daily log of outbound calls with a high call volume;
- Organizing professional communications and timely follow-ups;
- Obtaining company information on prospective clients;
- Arranging follow-up calls/meetings for Business Development Managers;
- Earning an opportunity to be considered at the end of the internship for a full-time position.
Qualifications
- You must be a junior or senior in college with a business or related major;
- You should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher;
- You are self-motivated and ambitious;
- You can work independently and manage your time efficiently;
- You possess excellent communication skills;
- You are detail-oriented and well-organized;
- You are a team player who can manage multiple tasks;
- You are competitive;
- You have a positive attitude.
