What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Horton Electrical Services, LLC?
Horton Electrical Services, LLC & Squirrel Enterprises, Inc. are looking to hire full-time Construction Equipment Operators. Are you an experienced equipment operator who enjoys working in an interesting environment with a focus on quality work and client satisfaction? QUALIFICATIONS :
- Require a valid and clean Driver’s License.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Require a valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
- 2 years of field experience operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform physical labor and other physically strenuous tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. without limitations.
- Leadership qualities.
- Be able to be an independent thinker and be able to work as a part of a team.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within the State of Connecticut.
- Must be punctual, reliable and possess excellent work ethic.
- Safety conscious work environment.
- All positions require physical labor, positive attitude, and willingness to follow our safety policies.
- Applicants must pass a Pre-Employment Health Performance Exam, pre-hire drug and alcohol testing prior to starting.
- Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States and able to commute to and from work locations.
This full-time position is Monday – Friday .
PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND MOTIVATION.
