What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Attendant position at Horton Plaza?
Elegant retirement community is seeking a part-time personal care attendant. Join the fun and family oriented caregiving team of this elegant retirement community! Part-time position available in our Residential Care Facility (RCF) unit. Must be available for weekends. Shifts are Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 5pm - 8pm. Average of 10-15 hours per week - additional hours available at an on-call basis.
Provide professional, personalized care to our senior residents. Successful candidates will be dependable, self motivated, detail-oriented, and have a kind and patient demeanor. Duties include assisting residents with ADLs including showering. Light housekeeping, laundry, medication administration, and other duties as assigned. CNA licensing is not required. Previous experience with medication administration is a plus but not required.

CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers' certifications are required for this position. Horton Plaza will pay for such certifications after hire. Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana) is mandatory.
