This position includes collaboration with both technical and non-technical personnel across all project stakeholders.Responsibilities : Develop testable code using existing service tier components and prescribed coding conventionsWork in a dynamic environment utilizing advanced debugging skillsDemonstrate flexibility and attention to detail, working in a collaborative team environment using emerging technologies and modern software development practicesUnder Lead Developer guidance work to define requirements, research candidate technologies, and support development of prototype solutions. Work with existing and emerging UI web application frameworks and integration frameworks and technologiesSupport full life cycle development, including participating in planning, design sessions, development, testing and deploymentInteract with diverse cohesive team to provide high quality client delivery.Qualifications : Knowledge of a variety of standard concepts, practices and procedures in coding software applications; and proficiency in VMWare ESC, Linus OS, Java-JDK Oracle RDBMS, and Apache Tomcat-outputting HTML, XML, CSV, XLSTesting, integrating and evaluating new system functions and features in the development and user acceptance environments and deploying to the production environment when approved by the PMMonitoring system performance to identify inefficiencies and making recommendations for improvementsMonitoring and ensuring accuracy of functionality for existing and new system-to-system interfaces and viewsResolving issues and coordinating with stakeholders as neededUpdating, installing and testing DoD approved third party plugins and softwareAbility to work independently in a team environmentBachelors degree in computer science or related field or an equivalent amount of work experience3 years of professional software engineering and software development experience
