We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our busy dermatology practice. Please apply to join our fun and fast-paced office, that serves all ages from children to seniors, and assists with the care of their skin, hair, and nails.
Responsibilities:
- Bring patients back to the rooms and perform a medical history, using our iPad-based electronic medical records system
- Assist the providers with skin biopsies and simple surgeries
- Call patients with results of tests
- Help with prior authorizations of medications
- Remove sutures and apply bandages
- Prepare the rooms and equipment, stocking and cleaning as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare preferred
- Gets along well with co-workers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- We are looking for self-motivated and proactive workers
Full time and part positions both available
No weekends or evenings!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
