The Project Engineer at Horwitz plays a critical role in supporting Project Managers across all divisions, including Construction, Service, Electrical, Temperature Controls, Industrial Ventilation, Mechanical Insulation, and Millwrights. The Project Engineer will assist in coordinating project activities to ensure that cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are consistently met. This position offers exposure to every aspect of the construction process, providing a solid foundation for a future career as a Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Printing/copying/scanning drawings and documents.
• Assist PMs on both small and large projects as on-site project engineer.
• Walk through and job site meetings
• O&M Manuals
• Revit Modeling
• Vacation Staffing
• Load calculations
• LEED project documentation
• Some commissioning and special instructions
• Conduct yourself in accordance with Horwitz core values: safe, accountable, professional, motivated, can-do and curious.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
