A Service Coordinator plays a critical role for establishing the Service brand Horwitz promises our customers. This role works closely with our Service Technician team to provide timely service, preventative maintenance and small project deliverables to Horwitz customers. The position includes frequent, daily direct contact with customers through phone/email and handles requests through our website. Key Responsibilities:
- Answer service phone line/email inbox, handling each situation with tact, diplomacy, and empathy
- Record customer service requests with attention to detail
- Dispatch Service Technicians and maintain the labor schedule to ensure accurate planning
- Coordinate with Inside Sales as needed to support parts ordering, scheduling of return labor
- Ensure Service Technicians complete time entry daily for completed work
- Approve weekly timecards for assigned Service Technician team
- Process leads, proposal requests, escalations as needed with the Service Sales team or GM.
- Review open work order reports for completion to assist with timely billing for customers
- Work with Inside Sales to coordinate courier/warehouse deliveries
- Support internal customer requests for labor on Projects/Jobs/Special Projects that require Service labor

Education and Experience:
- Dispatch/business management software experience desired, but not required
- Industry experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) will be a plus, but is not mandatory
- Associates or bachelor’s degree
