The Maintenance Sales Executive role is a hunter/cold calling position. The objective is to find new HVAC contract customers by canvassing the Twin Cities area and its outskirts to establish appointments, qualify prospects, identify their preventative maintenance needs, and ultimately sell our service to them. The position allows for the independent, autonomous building of a book of business while having the full support of the management team. This role is aligned with Horwitz's core values: Safe, Accountable, Professional, Motivated, Can-Do, and Curious.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategy to identify new customers.
- Daily calls and in-person visits to prospective customers.
- Perform building site surveys.
- Create estimates and proposals.
- Make in-person presentations and close sales.
- Pursue internal cross divisional sales opportunities.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and other business engagements.
- Assist with renewals, adds, extensions of preventative maintenance contracts, as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills & Education:
- Strategic planning and execution of a sales growth plan
- Exceptional communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational ability
- Strong customer service skills/problem solving skills
- Minimum two years successful HVAC sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree desired
