The Maintenance Mechanic will maintain the professional, well cared for image of the Hoselton Complex and maintain a safe and clean environment for customers and employees while helping to control repair costs through proper maintenance.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Schedule:
- Full-time: 5 day workweek, Monday -Friday , 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute meal period)
- You must be reliable, reporting to work on time prepared to perform your duties.
- Compensation:
- $41,000-$50,000 annually (based on experience)
What will our Maintenance Mechanic do?
- Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure facilities and associated equipment are physically maintained, and assess facility needs. Includes building maintenance and some grounds keeping.
- Maintain cleanliness of the outside physical areas, repair and maintain grounds and facilities. (parking lot maintenance)
- Perform general maintenance/repairs. (ie. change light bulbs, minor plumbing repairs, replace door handles, repair/replace door closers)
- Painting.
- Light carpentry.(assembly of office furniture, hanging shelves, etc.)
- Snow removal including plowing, shoveling,operating a snowblower, salter and willing to learn heavy equipment operation (payloader and skid steer) Note: 24-hour On Call in winter months.
- Assist with the maintenance of HVAC units.
- Pick up trash on property when needed.
- Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to the manager.
- Interact with staff in a professional and courteous manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Maintenance Mechanic is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. The Facilities Maintenance Worker also performs other duties and responsibilities as needed specifically related to the grounds and buildings.
- Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure facilities, grounds and equipment are physically maintained, and assess facility needs. Includes building maintenance and grounds keeping.
- Maintain cleanliness of the outside physical areas, repair and maintain grounds and facilities.
- Perform general maintenance/repairs.
- Painting.
- Light carpentry (assembly of office furniture, hanging shelves, etc.)
- Change light bulbs as needed
- Door hardware repairs (replace handles and repair closers
- Repair/replacement of fixtures and equipment.
- Snow removal.
- Pick up trash on property as needed.
- Ensure that all equipment and tools are in clean and safe working order
- Ensure that general safety standards and OSHA regulations are followed.
EXPECTATIONS
- Landscaping experience (mow, trim, maintain)
- Ability to maintain equipment
- Heavy equipment experience preferred but will train (Bobcat, Payloader)
- Able to work on a ladder
- Plowing experience
- Basic maintenance experience
- Willing to be on-call 24/7 for snow plowing in winter months
- Valid drivers license
- Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures
- Perform duties as workload necessitates

- Valid driver license with acceptable driving record
