The Role: Insurance & Risk Management Specialist
Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for risk assessment and insurance management? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment? We are seeking an Insurance & Risk Management Specialist to lead our risk mitigation strategies and ensure our clinic operates with the best financial and operational protections in place.
What You’ll Do
Manage, analyze, and optimize insurance policies, including malpractice, liability, workers’ compensation, and property coverage.
Identify potential risks, implement proactive solutions, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Oversee insurance claims, working closely with providers and legal teams to ensure timely resolution.
Review vendor agreements, contracts, and policies to align with regulatory and company standards.
Provide leadership with risk analyses and cost-effective insurance strategies.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Three to five years of experience in corporate insurance, risk management, or a similar role (healthcare experience preferred).
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, malpractice insurance, and financial risk assessment.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate across departments and work closely with legal, finance, and medical teams.
Certifications such as Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Certified Risk Manager (CRM) are a plus.
