About the Job
We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. This role provides physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, promoting and maintaining health in patients.Responsibilities
The successful candidate will utilize an outward mindset to achieve personal and team goals. Key responsibilities include:- Recording therapy procedures and results as per hospital policy.
- Communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Administering physical therapy treatments and exercises under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Observing and documenting patient responses to treatments.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:- An Associate's Degree.
- A current Michigan license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with one year of hospital experience.Working Conditions
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you may be exposed to infectious diseases.Physical Requirements
This role requires constant standing, reaching, seeing, and communicating. You will also sit frequently, walk regularly, and lift occasionally. Weights lifted may vary.
