Position: Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Nurse

Shift: Day

Salary: $86,650.99 - $134,309.04

Hourly Rate: $38.53 - $63.58

Responsibilities

The WOC Nurse provides expert nursing care for patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs, facilitating patient progress and transitions. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient needs and collecting relevant data.
  • Diagnosing issues related to wound, ostomy, and continence care.
  • Identifying expected outcomes and collaborating on quality improvement plans.
  • Evaluating policies to enhance care quality.
  • Assisting patients in securing appropriate services.

Requirements: WOC Nursing Education Program graduate, Bachelors in Nursing, NYS RN license, 3-5 years nursing experience, effective communication skills, and a commitment to continuing education.
