Ultrasound Technologist

Job Summary: Performs ultrasound scanning procedures and reports preliminary findings to the radiologist. Responsible for taking anatomical images, consulting on scan interpretations, and providing unofficial reports. Ensures operational excellence and quality service delivery in accordance with policies and standards.

• Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program; R.D.M.S. or registry eligible preferred.
• Minimum Work Experience: 1-2 years preferred.
• Required Licenses/Certifications: ARDMS certification preferred.
• Skills: Effective communication, basic medical terminology, computer knowledge, ability to lift patients and equipment, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
