What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Supply Coordinator position at Hospice Alliance?
Overview
We are seeking part-time supply coordinator to join our team. This position is part-time and works 7am to 3:30pm on every Tuesday and Thursday and every other Friday. The ideal candidate will also be able to work additional hours to assist with coverage when the other part-time supply coordinator who works the opposite days is off.
Duties
- Completes ongoing and an annual end of the year inventory of medical equipment and supplies.
- Maintains an organized, clean, efficient work area and stores supplies according to product guidelines.
- Works with vendors and maintains a just-in-time current inventory by ordering supplies as needed without having too much surplus or running out of items.
- Research vendors and orders from those who provide quality supplies while keeping costs under control.
- Processes employee supply orders, refills supply bins according to guidelines and distributes nursing bags to new employees.
- Picks up from and delivers outgoing mail to the mailbox and distributes mail daily.
- Able to work in excel to create, maintain and update inventory files.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
