Description
The Computer Support Technician will be part of the HBV IT support team and assist in agency support by answering employee questions regarding their office computer, phone and other related equipment and software. The Computer Support Technician will be responsible for maintaining and deploying desktops, laptops and other related equipment in a networked environment. At times other duties may be assigned as needed by IT department supervisor.
- Ensures hardware/software availability and stability
- Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems.
- Reviews, analyzes, develops, installs, and modifies computer operating systems.
- Analyzes and resolves problems associated with operating systems.
- Detects, diagnoses and addresses IT-related problems.
- Create, improve and document standardized, well thought out, process and procedures for IT related tasks.
- Performs checks on data files and monitors system configurations and reports findings.
- Assists Computer Systems Administrator with additional assigned tasks and projects to support the information technology needs of HBV.
Location: Bryan, Texas
Shift: Part Time, 20-25 hours per week

Requirements
· HS Diploma or GED
