We are seeking a Hospice Community Liaison/Business Developer to work Full Time to serve our community. Our organization is fully dedicated to meeting the needs of patients and families, and helping them receive the care they need.
What You’ll Do:
- Call on physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living facilities, and other senior living settings with the assigned territory to open new accounts and promote hospice referrals.
- Maintain detailed territory list, prioritizing accounts in accordance with the market/territory sales plan. Maintain detailed territory management systems records as required.
- Make sales calls, arrange appointments and deliver educational programs to keep referral sources current in hospice service offerings. Act as a liaison between referral sources and HCC staff to provide information on organization services, resolve problems, and maintain positive customer relationships.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a health-related science (e.g. Nursing, Pharmacy or Social Work)
- A minimum of one year of hospice or industry-related sales experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- General understanding of hospice referral partners (hospitals, physician, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities).
- General knowledge base of the healthcare providers in our service areas: York, Chester, and Lancaster counties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- What is your desired salary range for this role?
- This position has a remote on call requirement once every three weekends that is daytime hours on Saturdays and Sundays and holidays. It's a flat rate of $200 per weekend. Are you comfortable with this aspect of the role?
- This position's work hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. We occasionally have hospice events or expos that require evening and weekend availability and offer flex time. Are you comfortable with these hours for the role?
