Hospice of the East Bay (HEB) operates six Thrift Shoppes throughout Contra Costa County, featuring a wide range of vintage items, clothing, fine and custom jewelry, collectibles, furniture, household items, artwork, books, CDs, and DVDs - all donated by members of our community. What You Will Do Everyday
- Opens and closes the shoppe
- Maintains a sparking and organized location
- Help customers with purchases, questions about Hospice mission, and anything else they may need
- Works with volunteers daily to keep the shoppe running
- Receive, processes, organizes, prices, and distributes merchandise within the shoppe
- Attend meetings to ensure Shoppe and Hospice East Bay polices are being meet
Position Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interact with volunteers and to work with the public
- Familiarity with cash register balancing procedures and ability to count out change
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
Experience & Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail, sales and/or cashiering experience is desirable

Martinez location - 8:45am-5:15pm Variable Shifts; weekends required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
