What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Liaison - Entry Level Field/Sales Marketing Rep position at HOSPICE OF LAKE & SUMTER?

The Clinical Liaison Float (Entry Level Field Marketing/Sales Rep) is responsible for all sales and marketing activities designated to increase referrals/admissions and enhance relationships with referral sources in Lake, Sumter and Marion counties in Florida. These activities may include but are not limited to: marketing, public relations, education, customer service, and assisting in patient referral functions to assure timely admissions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospice care and willingness to learn medical sales (pharmaceutical, DME) and calling on physicians, hospitalist groups, and facilities (SNF,ALF) within an assigned rotation. Will learn to present education to healthcare professionals and make cold calls into new accounts. Will gain strong follow-up skill set. Knowledge of Medicare guidelines, Medicaid coverage, and primary insurance plans a plus!
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (after hours and weekends as needed) Focuses on Physician Development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year professional medical marketing experience, background in health care/social services considered.
- Ability to promote hospice with potential referral sources in competitive areas.
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, including public speaking experience.
- Established, positive relationships within the medical, hospital and long-term care communities
- Valid Florida drivers license and ability to travel within the designated counties.
