What are the responsibilities and job description for the FT HOUSEKEEPING - HOSPICE HOUSE - Orlando Hospice House position at HOSPICE OF LAKE & SUMTER?
Cornerstone Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a reliable and motivated Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeper) to maintain housekeeping duties at the Hospice House. This position is full time and will be responsible for actively maintaining a clean, safe, orderly and homelike atmosphere throughout the House.
Schedule: varies - 2 weekends a month (hours to be determined)
JOB DUTIES/KNOWLEDGE
Vacuums, dusts, empties trash and thoroughly cleans all assigned areas in a manner and frequency as required.
Cleans and disinfects patient care equipment such as bed, over-bed tables, beside commode at room change in accordance with OSHA requirements.
Responds promptly and cheerfully to requests for emergency clean-up service.
Promptly reports to supervisor any needed repairs, replacement or maintenance issues, including hazardous conditions.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma required.
Minimum of one year housekeeping experience required.
Must be familiar with cleaning equipment and supplies/chemicals.
Valid Florida driver’s license with required auto liability insurance required.
