Position : CNAHours : 8a-5p M-FLocation : East TeamKey Responsibilities :
- Deliver physical care to patients, including bathing, changing linens, feeding, assisting with ambulation and transfers, and supporting range-of-motion exercises and positioning.
- Reinforce dressings as needed and adhere to infection control procedures and Standard Precautions against Bloodborne Pathogens.
- Perform light housekeeping duties in patient areas, including laundry, trash disposal, meal preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, disinfecting equipment, and replenishing supplies.
- Collaborate with other Hospice team members to educate primary caregivers and families regarding physical care, disease processes, and emotional support for patients.Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate from Florida State.
- Six months of experience as a CNA in a hospital or long-term care skilled nursing facility preferred. A letter of recommendation from an instructor may be requested for candidates with no prior job experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification.
