Hospice PRN Field Staff RN Position Summary and Details
• Position Summary: The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing the patient/family/caregiver needs, planning for the care, implementing the Plan of Care, and evaluating the effectiveness of the care provided. As a member of the IDT, the Staff Registered Nurse/Case Manager oversees the direction and coordination of a patient’s care throughout their time in hospice.
• Pay: $37.20 Hourly
• PRN Non-Exempt Position, as needed
• Normal Schedule: As needed with an additional rotational on-call schedule that includes some evening, weekends, and holidays.
• Will be based out of our Marion Patient Services Office.
• Would travel within the Marion office’s service which include the following counties: Jefferson, Perry, Franklin, Hamilton, White, Gallatin, Saline, Williamson, Jackson, Union, Johnson, Pope, Hardin, Alexander, Pulaski, and Massac
• We visit our patients wherever they may located, whether it be in their homes, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. As a result, a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation are requirements of the position. The company reimburses .67 per mile for driving personal vehicles.
• Hospice of Southern Illinois is certified by the State of Illinois and is in compliance with the registration requirements of the Illinois Equal Pay Act.
