What are the responsibilities and job description for the IPU RN - PRN position at Hospice of The Piedmont, Inc?
Work Schedule: any day of the week; minimum requirement of two shifts per month.
This position provides direct nursing care to patients in the IPU, their families, interdisciplinary group management, coordination of patient and family services, and evaluation of appropriate hospice care through development of the Hospice plan of care.
What are the essential duties day to day?
- Symptom management
- Patient Assessment
- Documentation - assessments, interventions, and updates
- Develop and coordinate plan of care
- Educating patient and family members
- Communicate with our medical providers onsite
- Average of 6 patients a day
- Supporting other staff members and team members
- Training members
- Supervise CNA services provided to assigned patients

Required- Associates or better in Nursing
