What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLINICAL SCHEDULER position at Hospice of the Red River Valley?
Position Summary
Responsible for the scheduling C.N.A. team members to conduct personal care for patients, communicate schedule as needed to key stakeholders, and provide other administrative support to the clinical team in order to provide quality patient care. This role will also be involved in additional clinical scheduling strategies as identified and implemented for the organization.
This position will be full-time (40 hrs/week) and located in the Detroit Lakes or Fargo office. Monday Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Complete and coordinate the personal care schedule.
- Notify patients/families, facilities and HRRV personal care staff of personal care schedule.
- Coordinate and communicate schedule changes to patients/families, facilities and HRRV staff.
- Provide feedback to the appropriate supervisor regarding CNA performance.
- Refer concerns or issues of CNA and/or patient and family to supervisor.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Communication: Demonstrates courteous, professional, and confident rapport with customers/significant other(s), offers informative and accurate communication.
- Maintains composure during stressful situations. Demonstrates willingness to accept changes in job responsibility, and flexibility in response to unexpected change in work volume, emergencies, and staffing or scheduling changes.

Pay Range: Starting at $17.79/hour (based on experience).

Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and direct staff
- Excellent computer skills including working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Data entry and medical terminology knowledge

- Preferred clinical experience as a C.N.A. or healthcare scheduling experience
