Position Profile
This role provides quality maintenance of HOV facilities, furnishings and equipment and helps to ensure safe, efficient and welcoming physical environments.
Responsibilities
- Provides quality facility and equipment maintenance.
- Assures environmental safety.
- Assures appropriate allocation of expenditures.
- Maintains and enhances professional skills.
- Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of progressive experience in a maintenance, Handyman, or Construction field.
- Minimum of three years of related preventative maintenance, repair and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direct supervision
- Demonstrated self-starter and ability to take initiative, escalating issues as needed and appropriate.
- Training Requirements: OSHA, building, life safety and fire codes.
- Working knowledge of building construction, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems and a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Familiar with OSHA regulations and building, life safety and fire codes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare background preferred.
