You will perform housekeeping duties in assigned areas. This position is Friday-Monday, 8:00am-4:30pm and is based out Ames Family Hospice House located in Westlake, Ohio.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Clean assigned areas
- Stock, clean and track DME daily
- Spot clean carpet as needed
- Clean equipment, restock cart and dispose of trash in dumpster
- Perform other duties as assigned
SUCCESS CAPABILITIES:
- Must be able to read, write English and carry out instructions
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
Physical
- This is medium to heavy work requiring work requiring the exertion of up to 75 lbs. of force occasionally as well as 50 lbs. frequently utilizing appropriate safe transfer techniques and body mechanics when working with patients.
- This work requires stooping, squatting, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping and feeling; vocal communication; hearing; visual acuity and color perception.
- Employee understands and accepts possibility of exposure to environmental elements, internal and external, such as infectious disease, bloodborne pathogens, and chemicals and/or chemical fumes, (pet dander and/or exposure to allergens) and adverse effects of inclement weather that may occur as well as potentially difficult patient and family situations.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Compliance to Annual Flu Shot Policy or ability to provide exemption documentation
- Provide an active auto insurance policy as a licensed driver in the State of Ohio with the proper level of coverage as directed
- Provide an active driver’s license
- Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
