What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Advocacy Specialist position at Hospice of Wilson Medical Center?
At Hospice of Wilson Medical Center, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care to our patients and their families. As a Patient Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading our hospice care team and ensuring that we deliver high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
This is a full-time salaried position that requires a minimum of 4 years of full-time experience as an RN or equivalent. You will work closely with our Executive Administrator/Executive Director/Director of Clinical Operations to ensure the delivery of safe and efficient patient care.
Your key responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with hospice policies and procedures, promoting quality care and safety of patients and staff, and providing educational support to staff to promote health and safety of patients and familiarize staff with regulatory issues and agency policy and procedures.
As a Patient Care Manager, you will also engage in thorough problem resolution and complaint investigation, and provide in-services to staff to promote quality care and safety of patients and staff.
