What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Call Hospice Nurse position at Hospice/Palliative Care Company?
We are an exspanding and locally owned hospice group based out of Metro Atlanta that is looking to connect with RN's who are looking to make some extra cash!
- This position requires that the RN be available/on call to assist terminally ill patients and their families through tough times during after hour instances( 5pm-8am).
- Our after hours team triages every call before forwarding clients to you.
- This positions requires that the RN present to perform timely death pronouncements as necessary.
- Participates in agency performance improvement initiatives
- Communicates with the physician regarding the patient’s needs and reports changes in the patient’s condition; obtains physician orders as required.
- Conducts follow up with the hospice office by phone and fax to ensure quality of care and notifies Administrator and/or Clinical Manager.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
