Our hospice organization is seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to join our team. As a Hospice Nurse, you will have the unique opportunity to provide holistic and personalized care to patients and their families during their end-of-life journey.
Our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) adhering to the mission and philosophy of Hospice provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direction of the Case Manager. They employ a holistic nursing process to assess patient needs and devise strategies to meet them. Utilizing management principles, they plan, organize, and deliver care while actively contributing to organizational goals. Their practice aligns with professional, hospice, and nursing standards, demonstrating a continuous commitment to personal professional development.
COMPENSATION :
Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and expertise. Our starting range is between $65,000 to $75,000 annually.
SCHEDULE :
The schedule for this position entails Monday through Friday day shifts. On-call duties, which may include after-hours and weekend work, will be rotated based on location. We are looking for full time, part time and PRN LPNs!
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE :
- Current LPN Licensure with state of employment with no encumbrance
- Previous nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care, highly preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to provide comfort and support to patients and families / loved ones during a challenging time.
- Valid driver's license with current automobile insurance
- Reliable vehicle
