JOB SUMMARY
This position is for a lead medical assistant whose responsibility is to work collaboratively with the clinical supervisor and director of medical practices to optimize functions of the practice and provide direct care to patients receiving therapeutic and diagnostic services. This position reports to the Clinical Supervisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of an approved medical assistant program. Basic life support (BLS) required.
Formal Training: Clinical competence as Medical Assistant.
Licensure, Certifications & Registration: Certified Medical Assistant.
Work Experience: Prior experience working in a hospital/healthcare setting in a specialty field preferred.
