We are looking for patient transporter. The goal is to enhance customer experience by moving patients throughout the hospital as safely and efficiently as possible. Call Antonio at (941) 525 - 0854 for more information about this position at Mercy Anderson Hospital.
Applicant must be able to work weekends, pass background check, pass physical, and get BLS certification prior to working on own. Applicant will be trained for two weeks prior to being on own. A great afternoon job for someone who likes to move and is looking for part-time work.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients to and from various departments safely
- Help move patients from equipment with assistance
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
- Handle reasonable guest complaints/requests and inform others when required
- Comply with health and safety regulation and follow company policies and licensing laws
Skills
- Ability to work independently and remain motivated
- Helpful with customer service orientation
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
- Knowledge of English language
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
- Ability to pass BLS certification test
