Summary

  • Department: Medical Staff Services
  • Schedule: Full time,40 hours per week
  • Facility:  St. Mary's Hospital- Hybrid or Remote work option
  • Location: Green Bay, WI

 

 

Performs all activities related to credentialing and re-credentialing, including, but not limited to, determining an applicant's eligibility for membership and privileges; analyzing applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy; timely processing applications for membership and/or privileges; and ensuring hospital standards, state and federal law, and accrediting standards are met. Facilitates and manages department meetings, as necessary. Supports effective physician and advanced practice professional PPE processes.


Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree Health Care Administration or related field is preferred.

 

Experience

3 years clerical experience is preferred.

3 years of experience in healthcare is preferred.

2 years of Hospital Credentialing or Payor Credentialing experience is preferred.

 

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is preferred.
