What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Clerk position at Hospital Sisters Health System?
- Pre/Post Procedure Unit, St. John's Hospital
- Fulltime, 40/hrs week
- 5:00am-1:30pm, M-F
- No Weekends
Facilitates patient and clerical activities, including order entry, documentation, communication of information necessary for patient care, system management, chart assembly and analysis, customer service/public relations activities related to patient care and unit operations. Ensures accurate data collection and data entry to facilitate customer satisfaction and timely and accurate reimbursement for services.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED is preferred
Experience
Working knowledge of medical terminology and/or previous course in medical terminology is desirable
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
