HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital is seeking a Health Unit Clerk/Patient Care Assistant (HUC/PCA) to join our Emergency Department (ED). Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge under the direction of a registered nurse in a fast-paced environment with complex acuities; in addition to, facilitating clerical activities, documentation, and customer service duties.

o Department: Emergency Department
o Schedule: Part-Time, 24 hrs/wk, PMs (3p-11p) & every third weekend

Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
- BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.
- CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification in state of practice is preferred.

Pay Range:
$17.00 - $23.80
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
