What are the responsibilities and job description for the Market Director-Radiology position at Hospital Sisters Health System?
The Market Director-Radiology provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities within the regional service line with objective of maximizing quality, growth, fiscal responsibility, and profitability. Works in collaboration with local and shared services leadership as well as medical director of the Radiology department in the areas of: operations; strategic planning; service development and marketing; stakeholder service, system standardization, quality, patient safety and throughput. Directs, supervises, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates clinical and operational activities of radiology leadership ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and fiscal responsibility of radiology throughout the market ministries and outreach locations.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or related field is required.
Master’s Degree in radiology related discipline is preferred.
Experience
5 years of radiology experience is required.
3 years of leadership experience in radiology/imaging is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice if applicable is preferred.
Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Nuclear Technology Certification Board (CNMT) or Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
