Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - PRN Urgent Care - HSHS Medical Group - Newton, IL

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care/Quick Care location in Newton, IL as a PRN provider. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.

Practice Highlights

Monday - Friday weekly schedule, 10am - 6pm
Urgent Care/Quick Care model with no scheduled appointments, walk-ins only
PRN Coverage - no call, holidays, or weekends
Support staff available onsite
EPIC EMR

Position Requirements

Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
Board Certified
If an APRN, must be family nurse practitioner trained in order to see all ages
2 years of prior practicing expereince is required
Education Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Nursing is required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
  • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.

  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or

  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.

  • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.

  • Federal DEA license is preferred.

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.

Pay Range:
$54.45 - $78.59
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
