Physician - Orthopedic Surgery - HSHS Medical Group - O'Fallon, IL

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to provide outpatient services at our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine clinic in O'Fallon, IL, and to provide surgical services at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.You will find O'Fallon, IL just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis.

Position Requirements

• Unrestrictive Illinois license before start
• Board Certified or Board Eligibility
• 2 years of prior practicing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must plan on performing general orthopedics, Subspecialty interest is welcome. 

Position Details

• Monday - Friday clinic and surgical schedule
• ER call and hospital consult coverage 7 days per month
• Physician Assistants cover after-hours phone calls from patients.

Education

Clinical doctorate is required

Experience

Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required

Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsLicensed physician in the state of practice is required

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required

Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty

Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program

Must be board certified or board eligible
