Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Pre-Registration Specialist to join our team. Pre-Registration Specialist completes pre-registration and point of service (POS) collections tasks for scheduled outpatient services and inpatients admissions. Ensures that patients are informed of any financial obligations as it pertains to their visit and provides support options to assist the patient in meeting said obligations. Employs practical communication skills in all interactions and promotes and adheres to our core values for positive patient experiences.

- Location: 100% remote within 1 hour of one of our ministries

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- One year of experience in customer service and general clerical/office procedures is required.
- Two years of healthcare or clerical/administrative experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $25.20
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
