Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Program Manager-Children's Hospital to join our team. The Children's Hospital Program Manager is responsible for the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis Foundation (HSSFF) local execution of the HSHS St. John's Children's Hospital fundraising activity and partnerships throughout the member hospital's designated fundraising territory in Central Illinois. With a focus on supporting St. John's Children's Hospital philanthropic efforts, main accountabilities include establishment of annual goals, objectives, strategies, and best practices to achieve the mission of the hospital/foundation. This role is critical for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding relationships with national and local partners, all colleagues including executive leadership, and guide these partnerships to reach program growth goals.

Position Specifics:
  • Schedule: Full time, 40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday
  • Location: Hybrid in Springfield, IL, 3 days on-site/2 days remote, travel in Central, IL region required 60% of the time (mostly during work hours)
  • Compensation that aligns with your experience


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Philanthropic Studies, Business, Finance or related field is required.
  • High School Diploma plus 5 years related experience in communications, marketing, sales, wealth management, or fundraising may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

Experience Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in planning and execution of donor/client solicitation or new business activities is required (This experience is in addition to experience used in lieu of degree).
  • Experience with fundraising and data management systems is required. Raiser's Edge experience is preferred.
  • Experience with moves management process, including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship is preferred.
  • Experience with managing fundraising volunteers and philanthropy committees is preferred.

Pay Range:

$32.58 - $48.87

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
