Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
Position Specifics:
  • Department: Wound Clinic. Intake, case management and discharge for all wound encounters, wound vacs, total contact casts, compression wraps and other advanced modalities. On the job training provided for charting system. The clinic has one nurse, a nurse practitioner, and patient navigator. Fast-paced environment but works as a team and close knit
  • Schedule: PRN Days. The clinic is open 8am-4pm Mon-Fri. Hours per week will vary as the caseload changes. No holidays, weekends, or call
  • Location: Litchfield, IL
  • Compensation that aligns with experience. Shift differentials for nights and weekends on top of base rate!
Education Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Wound Care is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Certification in area of specialty is preferred.

Pay Range:
$27.50 - $43.50
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
