JOB TITLE: Communications Supervisor

SHIFTS: 12 hour set schedule
About us: Hospital to Home LLC serves as the Commonwealth of Virginia’s premier transportation provider. Our services include ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher transport as well as Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Critical Care, & Organ Transports.
About the Role: You will serve as a Communications Supervisor as part of the Hospital to Home Communications team. The Communications Supervisor assists the Director of Communications in managing the day-to-day operations during their assigned shift. In this role you will assist H2H’s leadership in ensuring that all phone calls and radio communications are handled timely and professionally, trips are dispatched promptly and efficiently, and maintain awareness of all personnel and vehicles at all times. You will also enforce company policies, ensure compliance with company procedures, and provide education or discipline as necessary.
Prerequisites:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Have an acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with company policy.
- Have 1 year of dispatching experience
- Not have been convicted or found guilty of any crime, offense, or regulatory violation, or participated in other prohibited conduct identified in state EMS regulations as found in 12VAC5-31-910.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current certification through the VA OEMS as an EMT or higher.
- Obtain CPR/EVOC within 6 months of the start of employment.
